• On April 18, 1980 Adri founded a Stichting (Foundation), called : "De Vaste Burcht" ("The Mighty Fortress") with the aim to support Christian Relieve Projects, especially behind the Iron Curtain. In the beginning years, weekly radio programs were transmitted in Albanian for the Albanians, but we helped in other areas as well. However, the curtain got rusty, and finally rotted away. Spiritual and financial help since then is given wherever needed, but the main focus is spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ through mission and evangelization.

• We have been able to be of help - or are still helping - in The Netherlands, Albania, China, Egypt, Equador,  India, Iraq, Italy,  Malawi, Niger, Nigeria, Poland, Russia and Tanzania. Momentarily the main focus is on India and Tanzania. In India we run a Lepers colony, help the destitute people in a begger's concentration camp, build 49 churches, supply basic income to 64 pastors in the Remote Areas of Andhra Pradesh and Orissa, and run two Theological training centres for bare footed pastors in these states. In Tanzania we have built an orphanage in 2009, support HIV/AIDS patients, will start help in a very poor fisher mens village, and plan to set up a night shelter for homeless children in the town of Bukoba.
